Hike Fest is going into its 5th year. Organised by the Dominica Hotel & Tourism Association (DHTA), Hike Fest is a hiking event that takes place on three Saturdays in May. It offers locals and visitors, alike, the opportunity to explore Dominica while getting great exercise in the fresh air. Each year different trails are picked. They are chosen for all experience levels, but it is enjoyable for all ages.
Participants of the hikes meet on the Saturday morning of the hike at DHTA’s office in Roseau and are driven to the start point and from the hike’s end. Water and a complimentary T-shirt are provided.
Hike Fest occurs during Tourism Awareness Month, and is a complimentary event showcasing the island’s verdant landscape.
